"Caravana Metropolis" is a nomadic cinema event traveling through six major Romanian cities, with movies projected on the biggest inflatable outdoor movie screen in the country.
The organizers of the event asked me to design their key visual - the main idea is for the visual to be summery, colorful, and say something about most of the movies in the program. So I decided to make a collage of either iconic images or elements that appealed to me visually.
Technique-wise, I started by drawing the line-work for each element with Posca markers on paper, scanned it and colored it with Adobe Photoshop, and I also used some watercolor backgrounds from the "Mammoth Watercolor Media Maker Kit".
